Recap
Michael King pitched like he was auditioning for the 2017 Astros while Yamamoto gave up ONE run and somehow that's a loss because our offense decided to collectively take batting practice with pool noodles against a Padres bullpen that isn't even that good. Yoshinobu Yamamoto delivers a gutsy outing but takes the hard-luck loss, undone by the Dodgers' inability to solve Michael King, who keeps LA off the board all night. The bullpen holds firm after Yamamoto exits, but the bats stay cold, and Mason Miller slams the door in the ninth to seal the 1-0 Padres victory.
